Can I store repo lONLY locally?

Hi,

I am not going to save my code to any server - I only want repo to be saved and used locally. I created local repository, but when I press commit button it does NOTHING - does not even give some error message. I wonder is ST able to store repos only locally?

 

P.S. Do you know your stage commitment window cannot scroll text automatically and people need to scroll it manually? Which is terrible if you work with large projects.
