I'm not sure where to report this, but when deleting a submodule, an error occurs in the second command if there's a space in the folder name. It seems the command is simply missing quotes, as adding these and performing the command through the terminal works fine.
The commands in question:
git -c diff.mnemonicprefix=false -c core.quotepath=false --no-optional-locks submodule deinit "Some Path/With/Spaces"
git -c diff.mnemonicprefix=false -c core.quotepath=false --no-optional-locks rm --cached Some Path/With/Spaces
