Restricting Access to LInks - WIKI

Matt Houstom December 1, 2013

I have a question regarding the restriction of access to links on a Wiki page. If I have a link to an attachment (word document) on a wiki page can I lock that specific link (restricting it to a certain user group)? In other words, If I have a page that is open to “everyone” but there is a link to an attachment, Can I lock just that link, thereby stopping the attachment from opening for those not authorized?

Attachments are considered part of a page, there's no fine-grain control for the individual attributes of a page.

You could work around this by putting the attachments on a different page that's restricted, then the restriction would be enforced.
