Navmap macro shows buttons for pages which have been deleted

Steve White September 19, 2012

The navigation map or Navmap macro creates a blue button for every page in the space that has a matching label. We have notice since our upgrade to Confluence 4.3, that the blue button for a page continues to appear in the map even after the page has been deleted. Refreshing the page does not make a difference. To make the button go away, you have to purge the page from the trash.

This seems new to us. Has the Nav map macro always worked this way, that matching pages in the trash created buttons?

Thanks for the corrective action (purge the deleted page), it worked for me too.
