CLI error while connecting to confluence

Yogi G April 23, 2012

C:\Confluence\confluence-cli-2.5.0-distribution\confluence-cli-2.5.0>confluence.bat -a getspacelist --space SP –password PWD -s http://server:8080 -u admin

Unable to log in to server: http://server:8080/rpc/soap-axis/confluenceservice-v1 with user: adminuser.
Cause: (404)/rpc/soap-axis/confluenceservice-v1

Confluence version is 3.4.9. Client is on Same box as Confluence. OS is Solaris.

Actually I also tried using the CLI installed on my local machine which is Windows XP. That is the reason the path in the description is of windows. But the real error is on the Solaris box.

Please help ASAP....

We also have commercial license of confluence , let me know if you need us to create support ticket..

Make sure: 1. server address is correct, http://server:8080/rpc/soap-axis should retun an info page 2. remote API is enabled in administration > general configuration 3. user Id is correct 4. Password doesn't have any unusual characters

1. server address is correct, http://server:8080/rpc/soap-axis should retun an info page : return 404 but http://server:8080/confluence/rpc/soap-axis does return the info page with list of Two null servercies as below.

And now... Some Services

null (wsdl)

null (wsdl)

2. remote API is enabled in administration > general configuration : Its enabled.

3. user Id is correct : its correct

4. Password doesn't have any unusual characters : this is not the case.

THE PROBLEM IS STILL NOT RESOLVED. LET ME KNOW IF I HAVE TO OPEN A SUPPORT TICKET.
