Jira dev needs to update this on their side as well, otherwise, users have to enter two comments instead of one when multiple people work on an issue (contribute to work on an issue).

We have added support for the Mention feature in the Log work field.

The fix will be shipped with the next JEditor version (1.5.38).

The preview build is available: http://jiraeditor.com/builds/jeditor-1.5.37_mention_preview.jar.

It looks like JIRA's wiki renderer doesn't allow to mention users in the log work field (work description).

We will look into the details and add the support for this field if possible.
