Notification when tagged in Answers in Confluence Questions?

This is from an one of my users:

Is there a setting to allow for notifications when tagged in the answer of a Confluence question? I receive notification when tagged in the question portion but not the answer and I don’t want to miss when someone has tagged me within an answer. I checked with [redacted user1] and she confirmed that she also does not receive a notification when tagged in the answer that [redacted user2] wrote in this question

 

Is there a setting that controls this?

Hello, from what I know, mentioning functionality often doesn't work and there's an open issue reported for lack of getting notifications.
