Hello. I was wondering if there is any way to migrate certain sections and certain pages from an on-premise Confluence space to a cloud-based one.

The situation is the following: an on-premise Confluence space is shared by several teams and a cloud-based Confluence space is dedicated only to one team. That is why I don't need to migrate all the content and want to focus only on one section containing many child pages.

Thanks.

Hi @oonatsky

It is not possible to migrate partial Space at the moment.

To keep the newer instance neat and tidy, it is recommended to create a separate Space to contain the copy of pages.

This way, each Spaces will remain organised and can be archive after the migration.

Hi @oonatsky Welcome to the Atlassian community.

If there are lot of pages in your on-prem confluence then you can follow the below method to migrate the required pages from on-prem to cloud

  • Create a new space.
  • Move the required pages you want to migrate to the new space.
  • Export that space and import it in the cloud instance.
  • Then Move the pages (Parent with child) to the existing space on Cloud.

If there are only few then you can follow the below KB document for exporting and importing the pages in Confluence
