Hi, any help would be much appreciated. I completed the following steps:
1. Opened the Alerts view in Opsgenie
2. Checked the tick box for an alert I want to associate to an incident
3. Clicked on Incident Options which presented a drop down
4. Clicked Associate 1 alert with an incident
5. Searched and selected incident
6. Successfully associated the incident (I get the success pop up in the bottom left)
7. Open the associated Incident
8. Navigate to the on-screen Associated Alerts section but the alert does not appear
9. There is only a button in that section called Associated Alerts, when I click this, it is empty.
Is anybody else experiencing this issue? Is there a fix? Is it a bug? I can see an informational message on Step 4 whereby Atlassian has said although we have JiraSM it is not linked anymore. Has this decoupling work also undone the work for associating alerts within OpsGenie?
Opsgenie incidents no longer sync with Jira Service Management incidents
You must manually assign the Jira Service Management ticket to the priority field or set up an integration with priority levels.
I hope it helps!

Anthony
Hi Anthony thanks for your reply. I want the the OpsGenie alert to sync with OpsGenie incident by associating the alert. There is no requirement from JSM in this case. Any ideas?
Best,
Indy

I understand, I didn't understand correctly.
For that make sure there is an incident in the Opsgenie incident tab
Locate the alerts that you want to associate with an incident and select alerts and click Associate alerts with an Incident.
Type the beginning of the incident title to appear and associate.
I holpe it helps!!
If this is what you need, please mark this as an accepted answer!!
Thanks

Hi Anthony, thanks for setting out the steps. So they are the steps I originally followed however did not yield the results I wanted (associated alerts). Despite there being a success message the incident and alert is still not associated.

I have the same problem. There are alerts associated with the incident - I can navigate from the alert to the 'Related incident', but nothing appears when I click the 'See Alerts' on the Incident.
