We are receiving mails to opsgenie from one of our systems.
And don't see any way to achieve deduplication using the alias field.
We've tried adding it to the extra_properties, but it keeps getting generated.
Is there any other way to modify this parameter?
(we are on the essentials plan)

Unfortunately I don't think this will be possible on the Essentials plan. The Advanced tab of an integration where you can edit what data / field(s) parse in the alias is only available on the Standard and Enterprise plans (or the JSM/O Premium and Enterprise plans).
By default, the Email integration on the Essentials plan will parse the alert's ID in the alias.

Although you are trying to create an alias field - that's technically under the extra properties and not considered the alias field like here within the Advanced tab:
