Good Morning.  My company has used API integration to create OpsGenie alerts from our own software/test platforms.  However, I am not able to figure out how that API can trigger a JIRA ticket creation.  Can someone please support me on how that 3rd party API call through OpsGenie can create a JIRA ticket.  I have OpsGenie and JIRA webhooks/API's already but unable to get the external API to trigger those connections.

Thank you in advance for your support.

Hi Jmyers,

If you are using the Jira integrations in Opsgenie, there is a setting to have Jira issues created via alerts from 'other' integrations. Those integrations would include the default API integration, which you can use to send API calls to. jira_int.png

Thank you.  Have not used JIRA Cloud yet.  Been using previous JIRA integrations.  I will give it a shot.  Thank you
