Notify each time someone on team alias gets an alert

I'd like to get an informational email every time my team is alerted.

I do not want a typical alert as configured in my profile.

eg.  Someone alerts via alias and I am NOT on call... send me an email

Someone alert via alias and I am on call... send bells and whistles as per profile settings.

Is there a way?

Hello Bruce,

There is no method in Opsgenie to send a notification to someone who is not on-call. It is defined this way to avoid alert and notification fatigue. 

However, if you still want to get notified of all alerts assigned to your team, this may be possible via a workaround by using Slack or MS Teams. 

You can create a Slack or MS Teams integration and assign it to your team. Whenever an alert gets sent to your team, it gets notified on your Slack or MS Teams channel.

I see how to connect my opsgenie account to slack... is there a way to connect an opsgenie team to slack?

In the integration settings, there is an option called "Assign to Team". You can enter your Opsgenie team name here. This will ensure that only your team's alerts are sent to your slack channel. Hope this helps.
