Is there a way to filter in the search only alerts that were actually escalated ?

Hi Lev,

Escalating alerts is an action rather than a status, an alert is escalated so the next available escalation rule will be processed. After the execution of this action, the acknowledged state of the alert will be reverted back to false, i.e., to its initial state but it won’t change to “escalated” or similar.

Long story short, it’s not possible to search escalated alerts at the moment because it’s an action performed to an alert instead of a state of the same. I’m sharing the documentation for more details:

https://support.atlassian.com/opsgenie/docs/escalate-an-alert/

Good news is, we do have a suggestion ticket for this request. The Engineering Team is evaluating the same to check if this will be available in the feature for Opsgenie. I invite you to vote on the same, there is no ETA for delivery.
