good morning I wonder how long an alert stays open in opsgenie if there is no action?
I configured the auto close option for alerts that had not been updated within 72 hours, but there was still a legacy of 6 months ago.
Hi @[deleted] ,
An alert can stay open forever if there is no action taken on it. Which would explain why you had an alert open for 6 months.
Auto-close policies do not work retroactively either - meaning once configured, it wouldn't apply to alerts that were created before the policy.
