Searching based on developer reference - Next-Gen projects

Christian Zelada December 23, 2019

Using Jira Cloud and Bitbucket I'm trying to track pull requests that have not yet been approved.

Acording documentation i can search based on development status using JQL :

  • development[pullrequests].all (or .open)
  • Issue.property[development].openprs > 0

But it seems doesn't works for nex-gen projects.

Can you help me?

(Works on clasic projects)

Hi Christian,

Sorry to hear about this problem.  I was able to recreate this same behavior in my own Jira Cloud site in a next-gen project as well.  However I have not found any open feature requests or existing bugs about this problem yet.

In my view, this should work even for next-gen projects.  Which is why I have created a bug ticket for this over in JSWCLOUD-18660.  Unfortunately, I don't have a work-around for this problem at this time.  But I would recommend watching this issue for updates.  It's possible that next-gen projects could be storing this data in a different way that is not permitting it to be found via JQL here.

Regards,

Andy

K, thanks Andy,

I'm such a fan for NG proyects, really hope that the gap with the classic projects soon disappears.

I will be looking at the bug ticket.
