Welcome @Shannon Gagliardi
Welcome, Shannon! Please share when you find new cool tricks! I hope it's going great :-)
I'm Padmakshi, and I'm excited to join this group! As a Devops Engineer, I look forward to collaborating with all of you to streamline our project management processes and drive efficiency in our workflows. Looking forward to contributing and learning from each of you!
Welcome, Padmakshi! I hope the learning journey is going great!
Hello :)
I have been using and developing Jira Service Management since 2013 back when it was Jira Service Desk.
My favourite aspect is the integration with Assets.
I've been in JSM as an Admin for 2 years and several more as a user. I'm very excited that we will soon" be taking the plunge into cloud.
Hi, have just started using JSM..
Hi Sakina! I hope you've been enjoying JSM!
I've been going through all the training I can find and soaking it all in.
We just went live with our first JSM project recently.
I've been working with Jira for a while now. JSM isn't my main area of expertise. As the internal support for Atlassian at my company and also a trainer, I spend a lot of time on it. The more I work with it, the more interesting it gets. I'm excited to see what else is in store for me.
Hi Jacqueline! Nice to hear! JSM is also one of my favorite tools although sometimes I found challenges when rolling out due to the licensing model.
Hi Everyone!
Long time Jira user here (back when the logo was this!)
but new to the Community. Glad to meet you all!
Welcome, Juan Carlos! That logo was cool! ;-)
Welcome, Mark! Hope you're enjoying JSM!
Using JSM within a month on Cloud atlassian and over last 3 yeas in Server instance.
Our Lema, you can always find something to be automated <3
Hi there :)
My company just installed a JSM instance where I got to help test the setup. Currently trying to write the Operations manual. I set up an on-prem JIRA project like 10 years ago to replace a heavily email process and its interesting to see what has changed and what has stayed the same. Love how configurable it all is. Looking forward to replacing many email processes here - in fact we have various groups already reaching out to use the ticketing capabilities of our new instance. Fun times ahead.
Welcome, Justine! That's very cool! Great job!
I just realized I never introduced myself here 😕
My name is (obviously) Dave, and I've been a community leader for three years now. But my JSM/JSD journey extends beyond that (probably 7 or 8 years in total).
Throughout that time, I've been an Agent and support team manager but never a true/serious admin.
I frequently answer questions in this product group (when I'm able).
Anyway, a belated 'hello' to everyone 👋

Hi Dave, happy to have you here!
I have been working with ITSM tooling for quite some time, too bad the majority of it was having to use BMC's Remedy. It was such a breath of fresh air experiencing JSM!
Hello everyone!!
I've been using JSM for about 2 years
The most common use cases are for automatic rules and integration with other products distributing work on different backlogs on Jira Software.
Hi Thiago, these are definitely great features! Hope everything is going well!
Hello Everyone!
My name is Vinicius Boschetto Melo, but I usually go by Melo (way easier, isn't it?). I’ve been passionate about Jira Service Management (JSM) since it was called Jira Service Desk. I have over 8 years of experience working with Atlassian partners, where I’ve had the opportunity to configure and use JSM extensively.
A bit about me: I live in Toronto, Canada, but I’m originally from Brazil. The journey with JSM has been incredibly rewarding, and I’m always excited to learn and share new insights with fellow enthusiasts.
I’ve probably been part of this group since it was created in 2021, but I’m only now getting around to introducing myself (better late than never, right?).
Looking forward to engaging with all of you and sharing our JSM experiences!
I have been working with Jira Service Management for 1.5 years officially (2 years un-officially). Started with my current company in the CM group but was quickly asked to assist with Jira related projects due to my educational back ground and proven computer skills prior to moving to the Jira group officially.
My name is Ncumisa Booi I am located in South Africa. I have joined JSM about a month ago.
Welcome, Ncumisa!
New to this Group, Looking forward to learning from everyone!
Welcome, @Bibek Behera 👋
Welcome, Bibek!
Hi all!
I am just joining this group.
I have worked with Jira SM since its conception. Hopefully I can help others with some questions, offer some of my experience from applying Jira SM in various client assignments and processes. I will perhaps share an article or two and ask questions for myself. If I learnt anything through the years it is that there is always new things to learn.
Take care all!!
/Lisa
Welcome @Lisa Forstberg
haha, this thread was so long I seemed to miss to read the instructions :-P
1. I have worked with Jira SM since its was launched.
2. Last case I did was to use Jira SM for a quality process (non conformity requests), there are so many ways to use it!
3. Back in 2008 I was involved in building an integration between two Jira software projects (one "customer friendly view2 and one internal support view that somewhat stayed in sync) which sort of mirrored what was later released as Jira Service Desk
Hi all,
I mostly use Trello and active in that Community, but I am new to JSM!
Hey there,
I'm new to this group. I've been using JSM for over 3 years now. I really appreciate how it integrates with other Atlassian products.
Cheers,
Ju
Welcome @julvon 👋
Hi and welcome @julvon
All; new to the Atlassian Community. We are not using JSM currently, but looking to migrate.
I would love to have an offline conversation with members who recently made the leap. Certainly would love to hear how the migration went, things you would do differently, etc.
If you are willing to share experiences, please let me know.
Thanks in advance!
Hi all,
I am new here. I reached JSM for several years but was not familiar with it. Now I plan to spend more time to learn its' functions and configurations.
Hi Everyone :)
My name is Alexandra D. from Peru and I recently joined the group.
Hi @Alexandra DM and welcome to the group
I'm new to JSM, just started this month at my new job. Quite an overload of info but very comprehensible. Really enjoying it so far.
Welcome @Cas Renooij , there's lots of information and helpful people in the community, so if you can't find something just ask
Hi Everyone
I'm new here on this group. I however have been using JSM over a decade, obviously used the server side which was called Service Desk back in the day and recently obtain accreditation in JSM cloud. Here to share my knowledge and looking forward to learn more from the community.
Hi @Johann Batt welcome to the community adventure
I'm fairly new to JSM. I have used Jira Service Desk in the past. I'm curious to see if JSM is a good fit in my new role.
Hi @Gabe Castillo welcome to the group
