Please forgive the poor wording. But, for example, if we create a universal "Date" custom field, and in a Meeting Support request type use that field as the "Meeting Date" but in a Travel Support request type use that same custom field as the "Travel Date," would Reports be able to query for all Travel Dates in any given range, and separately query for Meeting Dates in a given range? Or are we stuck with only the universal "Date" field to query on?
I think I'm answering my own question as I'm typing this and thinking out loud...
My understanding is that you would be limited to querying against the universal "Date" field, but you could also add 'AND request type = "Travel Support"' if you wanted to see just the travel dates.
