I've been using Confluence for 3 years now and we mainly use it for our Jira Service Management Knowledge base which is very handy. We've built up quite a comprehensive set of guides and how-tos' that reduce the amount of repeating explanations and advice that needs to happen.
I also find it a great place to share plans in Jira Advanced Roadmaps with updates for projects and workstreams.
I never seem to get the time I need to really delve into the features and functionality though, and I'm looking forward to the day when I can finally drive some more engagement from our user group.
No doubt it will be even better by then!
