ictime - can I customize reports?

Ed Costello April 25, 2013

The exported ictime report includes the "Result" field in the form "xxh yym" where xx is hours and yy is minutes logged. When imported into Excel, this is a text field which requires additional parsing to represent it as two integers (one for h, one for m). Is there a way to export this directly as integer fields?

Better yet, is there a way to add custom fields or otherwise customize the exported report?

At this moment, there is no option to customize formats or fields of export files. This is something we have on the agenda, but not on the short run. However, I have created an issue for your specific case, because it definitely makes sense that the "result" column can be used for calculations and is no simple text string (https://interconcept.atlassian.net/browse/ICTIME-218). If possible with reasonable effort, this issue will be solved with the next release.

Best if you can contact the ictime plugin vendor directly which is supported by Interconcept GmbH directly as they would be able to give you the best recommendation and advice when it comes to customisation of their own plugin. Anyway, below is their contact details:

  • Vendor: Interconcept GmbH
  • Address: Zum Quellenpark 38 Bad Soden 65812 Germany
  • Website: http://www.interconcept.de
  • Email: jiraplugins@interconcept.de

Hope it helps!

Cheers :)
