Hi my team just installed Zephyr for Jira. We have populated Zephyr with test cases and when we select our Test Metrics we see the Test Distribution and Test Execution fields, however they are both empty (just blank boxes). Are we missing something?

Thanks!

Hi Julian,

I'd check to see if anyone has selected chart filters which match the testcases.

1. The owner of the metric dashboard displayed there is by default the individual who installed the add-on. They can reassign it to someone else if they want.

2. Confirm the correct Project selected and also the correct Versions in the charts. Also understand that the Version of the testcases is the "Fixed Version."

3. Check out our documentation here:

Let me know if you have any additional questions.

Kind Regards,
Chris

Hi Chris, We've run into a similar situation for some of the Zephyr test gadgets.

The situation started after upgrading to 2.0.0.1416. Current version is 2.1.0.1459, and we have the same situation in this version.

Three of the gadgets are not showing any data at all, despite the fact that Project | Test Cycles works all right (meaning that the graphs are OK here):

  1. Test Execution Chart Gadget is not showing data
  2. Burndown Chart Gadget is not showing data
  3. Top Defects Impacting Testing is not showing data

NB: Test Distribution Chart Gadget shows data all right.

Please advice how to get the gadgets working.

BR Ken
