Tests by module in Test Summary in Zephyr for jira

Raisa August 20, 2014

Hi

Is there a way that i can see tests by module in Test Summary. For my project, I have a mobile app and a web app. I would like to keep them two separate modules.

Is there any way to achieve that?

Hello Raisa,

As per the functionality of Zephyr for JIRA Test Summary page provides a comprehensive view of all the tests that belong to a particular project, summarized based on the overall totals, Versions, Components and Lables. So it is not possible to view tests by modules but this can be achieved by defining Components/Labels for that project.

This can be done as below.

Create two Components MobileApp and WebApp for your project and assign these components to the tests which fall under that module. Thus you can view the test summary by component which displays test as per your module(component). If you have already components defined you can go for labels.

Go through the below link which can help you in defining components.
