Is there any update on the release that will allow non-admin users to schedule recurring tasks?

Hello Ross,

Since TheScheduler 3.0 there is such option so even regular user can create scheduled issues. One thing to note is that such user will only see fields for which he has privilages.
OOTB in Jira user which is under "jira-users" group will not see for example assignee field which is by default available to users from "jira-developers".
