Need help to get Holiday Scheme from Tempo using Scriptrunner

I am wondering if there is a Tempo API that can access the Tempo Holiday scheme via scriptrunner. I want to take these holiday days and compare them to a custom date picker field. Can someone please post an example if there is such a case.

From futher analysis, I was able to log into the servlet which shows me an online XML file of the Holiday Scheme. e.g. http(s)://yourserver.yourdomain/plugins/servlet/tempo-holidayList/?tempoApiToken=my-token

I am wondering if there is a way to pull this XML file into groovy as an array and go through the holiday list to compare the dates from the custom date fields.
