Date entry in calendar is not saving the correct date

When I enter dates into the calendar in the 'Days Off' section, the date is not being stored as entered. For example,when I enter 25/12/2012 into the date field it then saves the record as 25/11/2012.

Satisfactory answer not yet provided, I have found a workaround which I will continue to use.
