We will have to have a look at this in the morning, to see if we can prevent this from happening again. However, as a workaround, you should be able to go to another issue and start the tracker again - this should alter which issue it is tracking. Hopefully, you can then stop the tracker, as usual.
Also, have you tried the X-button at the far right of the tracker?
