My company has Zephyr for Jira 2.6.2.
I saw https://community.atlassian.com/t5/Atlassian-Marketplace-questions/Zephyr-Environment-Testing-Custom-Fields-Test-Cycle-Grouping/qaq-p/324213 online. We need the functionality for adding test cycles in test cycles. We have a large regression test suite with many repeated subtests and subtests of subtests (tree structure at least 4 deep). The only thing we've been able to do is create one test cycle and put links to other tests in tests to create hierarchical test structure. The problem is that Zephyr for Jira doesn't connect these together which makes test execution and reporting up the chain rather manual and kludgy. Can you give us an idea when nested test cycles will be available in Zephyr for Jira (and if they will support nesting more than one level)? We're considering using another product since there are others that connect with Jira and do provide nested tests.

Arun,
Thanks for the reply. We tried using Zephyr during our latest release cycle and found it unusable in its present form. We'll be exploring the marketplace to find a full-featured test management tool that can be used immediately.
