Is there a quick way to remove a link from an item of text ?
I know I can delete the text and re-add but wondered if there was a neater way
David's answer is the "hacky" way of doing it, instead of having a one click "delete link" method, user has to edit / remove / save.
OP was asking for a single click method
You can right-click on the shape, select "edit link" and delete the link.
You must be a registered user to add a comment. If you've already registered, sign in. Otherwise, register and sign in.

Just found this as this wasn't obvious
You indeed have to use Right click > Edit Link
But actually delete the text within the URL box, this will remove the link

Plus, you mustn't forget to hit the APPLY button. OMG, this was supposed to be so obvious, but, it can be missed 🤦🏼
