for one of my projects I need to set automation rule. The trigger is "Work logged". I want to overwrite {{worklog.comment}} with a custom field value predefined within the issue.
I tried to use "set entity property" action, but don't know how to define "property key" to overwrite the worklog comment.
Is it possible to do with automation plugin?
thanks,
Lukasz
Hi Lukasz,
Thanks for your question. Editing a worklog entry is not something that we support currently however we have a ticket in our backlog on this, https://codebarrel.atlassian.net/browse/AUT-1268.
Cheers,
Simeon [Automation for Jira]

No status update I guess since January 2019?
I'm eagerly trying to do the same: set a default worklog comment if it's empty.
