Wanted to confirm that Jira Cloud for Google sheet is not going to be disconnected as suggested earlier

Correct, Atlassian decided to reverse their decision and no longer plans to deprecate this app. It will continue to be supported (thanks to the many people in the community who voiced their comments and concerns)!
