I'm setting up a simple scripted validator on the create step to ensure that the Affected versions are released, however the validator always fires even for affected versions which are released, and I'm having hard time figuring out where I'm going wrong.
The validator is on the 'Create' step of the workflow,
def affectedVersion = issue.affectedVersions def releaseState = issue.affectedVersions*.isReleased() releaseState == true log.error "LOGGER:" + "$affectedVersion" + "$releaseState"
In the log output, I can see that it's correctly reporting the releaseState, but even for versions where releaseState is being logged as true, the validator is kicking in.
Any suggestions would be much appreciated!
Hello,
Try to return the comparison's result:
return releaseState ==
true
The validator isn't returning anything so the result is coreced to false.
