Time format for Custom field

I recently added a new custom time field to my Jira project. I want to use it on Dashboards, but there's a problem: it's calculated in seconds instead of hours. How can I change it to show hours instead? Thanks for any help you can provide.

Hi Lilit,

Not sure if you've done this, but you can modify the field configuration:

1. Go to your Jira project settings.
2. Find and edit your custom time field.
3. Look for a setting related to unit or display format.
4. Change it from seconds to hours. (The exact option may vary depending on the custom field type you used).
