Setting select list field based on text field using groovy

I want set select list field to a certain value when text field is filled.

Department(text_field) contains -> Developer & Tester 

Role(Single_Select_List) contains -> development & testing

So when we write Developer in Department, the Role field should get automatically updated to Developer.

Can anyone help me with this issue?

You can do this with automations or scripting apps.  Have you got any scripting apps?  Do you have a preference?
