Populate a custom field from DB

Tammy.Robinson@onsemi.com August 15, 2017

I need to populate some dropdown lists from a database query.  Can this be done with scripting or is there a plug-in?  I found this one but it is costly. Wondering if there are any other options.

Thanks!

There are several "database field" add-ons available in the marketplace, not just the one you've found.  All worth a look, as they're all different (barring the commonality that they get database data into a field).

From https://marketplace.atlassian.com/search?query=database%20field

I've used about half, and I think the others in there you might want to look at are nFeed, Kepler, and Database Fields.  The others are less field-data based and head more towards reporting but still might be worth a look.

Thanks Nic! I'll take a look.
