The News Board app currently comes with three defined layouts (3 column, 2 column, and 3 column without the hero takeover), but has the capacity for new layouts to be added or even custom built layouts created for specific customers.
I've just released a new "beta" layout to demonstrate the potential of layouts that include special tiles that can display other kinds of information other than pages or blogposts. In this beta example layout, it includes a tile in the top-right that displays the current weather forecast, which is configurable by each user.
What kind of special tiles would you like to see included in a News Board layout?
And don't forget, you can also use the News Board macro to create other kinds of layouts on a standard Confluence page.
