License expiry of easymind plugin

Hemant Sharma January 28, 2016

Hi,

We are currently using Easymind plugin for Confluence:

Current Version : 1.4.7

I have few queries regarding the same:

We are planning to upgrade our Confluence software  to  5.9.x

Please find below queries.
The license of this plugin is going to expire on Feb 5th 2016.

1. What happens to the plugin once the license expires? Does it continue to work and only support would be lost?
2. What happens, if I have to upgrade Jira to a version, where the current version of the plugin is not supported and the license has also expired for the current version. Will I be able to upgrade it after expiry?

Hi Hemant,

thank you for your questions. Our answers are

  1. Yes, you are right. When the license expires, you will loose the support
  2. When the license expires, you will loose the support and will not be able to upgrade it. But EasyMind is compatible with Confluence 5.9.x, so everything should be fine

Cheers,
Tomas

Hi Tomas, thank you for the response.

As I stated, the licence is going to expire on 5th of Feb 2016.

My question is : What will happen to the plugin after 5th of Feb. Will it STOP working?

One more request : Please do share the contact information, so I can share the PO details of the licence renewal. Or do let me know the designated authority.

Thank you,

Regards,

Hemant Sharma
