I am attempting to import LDAP user accounts. I can successfully create the Import configuration, but when I run it, the accounts come in as separate object types, instead of Objects within the "Users" Object type in the Object Schema.

What am I missing?

Thanks heaps.

Hi Alexander,

I have the same problem Cassandra already described. The documentation for the LDAP import doesn't really help.

Kind regards,

Sabina

Hi Cassandra,

it depends on how you have configured your imports, and what Object Type mappings you've configured.
If you look at the documentation at https://documentation.riada.se/display/ICV50/General+Import+Concepts we describe the general concepts for the imports. Perhaps it can help you to verify that your import is correctly configured.

Based on what you describe, I think you have multiple object types mapped for the import, rather then just the "User" Object Type. Is that the case? If so, object swill be created in multiple object types.

Best Regards
Alexander
