JQL :assignee was ...

Guy Page January 7, 2013

As you were describing in the forum, the problem with the search assignee WAS 'username' is due to an anonymous search. How to avoid this problem?

We use LDAP identification.

exemple:

project = PROJ AND assignee = username ==> 50 results (works fine)

project = PROJ AND assignee was username ==> La valeur 'pagegu' n'existe pas pour le champ 'assignee'. (ERROR)

Note : French message is normal on our system.

Hi Guy,

This happens when the user doing the search does not have the global permission 'Browse Users'.

Make sure the user running the search has this permission and it will return all issues successfully.

Hope this helps,

It works when you search for

assignee was "full name"
