Our company previously put release updates in articles of a different service management software and users were able to subscribe to those categories. Then any time we published an article to that category, the users subscribed would get an email notification with that articles contents. Is there any way to do that in the Jira Service Management Help Center or can users only get notified of new articles when they login to the Help Center?
@Madison Olive There is not a delivered way or app that provides this functionality. Confluence notifies users who are watching a page or space about new and updated content. A publicly shared page or space does not allow a user to watch content so they will never be notified of changes. I would suggest setting up a mail list using something like Mailchimp or constant contact to address this issue. That is what we had to do since moving our knowledge base to Confluence.
