Is the Start Date and Due Date supposed to show is does it need to be done manually?

For us the Start Date and Due Date are not showing up. We do get a flag that represents the due date but that's about it. I'm sure I am doing something wrong. Any help would be appreciated. Thanks.

Have you set the default value of Start date or End date (or baseline) on the issue view settings?

You can define the default value of Start date, End date per the issue type.

Hi each ticket has been specified a Start and Due Date. Not sure how to get to the view that is shown in the screenshot

In the case of Server/DC version (If you use Cloud, you can't use this option),
please access to Gantt configuration (on the top right of Gantt-view)> Issue view  and click Edit link of issue type, so you can see Issue view configuration to specify Start date/Finish date.
