I was Setting up Intellij IDE to use as external Editor for Scriptrunner. In the process of creating a new Project in Intellij asks me for a jira source Code. I then provide the Folder with the files and then this happens:

Anybody an idea why this happens? 

Using jira 7.10.1, Scriptrunner 0.7.14 and IntelliJ IDEA 2018.1.6 (Community Edition)

Hi Thomas,

The ScriptRunner IDEA Plugin is no longer in the IntelliJ IDEA repository for versions 2018.1 or later, as it is not compatible. See https://productsupport.adaptavist.com/browse/SRJIRA-2807

The fix for compatibility is complete and is currently awaiting release, so I'm confident this issue will be resolved soon. However, please note that this is subject to change.

I believe the IntelliJ integration only works for versions earlier than 2018.1, so you won't find it in the repository if you're running 2018.1 or later. If you are really keen on using the IntelliJ integration, I'd recommend installing an earlier version of IntelliJ and downloading the ScriptRunner IDEA plugin here:

Thanks for the answer Josh, but I am actually able to install the ScriptRunner IDEA Plugin via the Plugin-Manager from Intellij. The Problem seems to be something with the class paths from the Jira Source. Any idea why this Problems occur? I am sorry if this is obvious but I am very new to working in this context.

No worries. Unfortunately, I'm not sure what is causing that specific error. I think it's still likely to be caused by https://productsupport.adaptavist.com/browse/SRJIRA-2807.

You are correct that the updated ScriptRunner IDEA Plugin is now in the JetBrains repository, however ScriptRunner for Jira is still not compatible. Given the errors in your above screenshot on line 6 ("groovyrunner has broken class path"), it seems likely that you'll need to wait until the compatibility update for ScriptRunner for Jira is released. That should be coming very soon. You'll need to update ScriptRunner for Jira when that happens.
