Hi,
I'm trying to setup Insight Discovery in order to get all my IT assets and import them in Jira Insight.
Jira is running on a AWS instance and I want to scan all the company internal network to get all the devices and then import them to Jira.
I got as far as downloading the Discovery app, configure the range of IP and scan it.
What I don't understand is where are the results. The logs show that the scan is working fine.
The other thing not clear is: I ran the scan on my local Windows machine, what will it produce? An xml? And after that, how do I import it to Jira Insight?
Do I need to upload the result in a folder on the Jira server and then point to that folder in Insight?
I will keep on reading the documentation but in my opinion it is not very clear, there should be a sample case scenario with steps.
I also imagine that I can't run it in MacOS right?
