I am not able to sort the issues on the basis of DBCF custom field value in filter result

Swati Sneha March 31, 2013

Hi,

I am using dbcf plugin for driving values from external data base. I am searching for issues in issue navigator. There I am trying to get the result on the basis of alphabatically sorted value of DBCF custom field. Is there any way that this can be achieved?

Thanks

Swati

This looks very similar to http://bugs.kepler-rominfo.com/browse/DBCF-39, which has been resolved in version 2.1.8 of the plugin. What Jira version are you using?
Please try performing a re-index and let us know if the problem persists.

Hi Swati,

In JIRA Issue Navigator, you can add your own custom field as a search column by going to 'Configure Columns'.

You can refer to:

https://confluence.atlassian.com/display/JIRA/Customising+your+Issue+Navigator#CustomisingyourIssueNavigator-CustomisingyourIssueNavigatorcolumns

Then you can Reorder the search results by clicking on the column header. For example, if you click the 'Reporter' column header, the Issue Navigator will re-display the issues in ascending order of reporter's name. If you click again, it will sort in descending.

More information here:

Cheers,

Amanda
