How to copy Next-Gen Estimated Story Points to Story Points field

Those new to the Atlassian Community have posted less than three times. Give them a warm welcome!
Currently, Next-Gen Jira doesn't allow for user-level sprint reporting.
To Solve this, we found that we can create a User-Specific query, a User-Specific Sprint Board in Jira Classic, then report on that user's sprint burndown by Story Point.
Since Next-gen Jira doesn't utilize the Story Point custom field, we are attempting to use the Automation workflow to:
- Detect changes in the Estimated Story Point field
- Write the set value to the Story Point field

Any advice on how to support this on Jira Next-Gen issues would be appreciated.
