There is this button on our app-page in the Atlassian marketplace and it says "Get it now" but I want to change it to "Try if free" ... but I couldn't figure out how to change it?
I assumed you have to change the payment/billing options, but I'm lost right now. Thanks for any advice.

You have no direct control over this button and it indeed depends on the payment model of your app. "Try it free" will show if the app is paid and you can generate a trial license for it. Since your app is completely free this wouldn't make sense. :)
