How can I add Simple Task into a Jira issue description section?

{task} macro just not working

there are no even option to insert add via ➕ button

I can only see Tasks on the bottom of the Issue screen

Hi @Andrei Kuntsevich ,

Due to technical limitations on the Atlassian side, the {task} macro is not available in Jira Cloud.

More specifically, Atlassian doesn't allow 3rd-party apps to create any custom macros or extend the editor in any way. As such, it's not possible to create the same functionality as Jira Server / Data Center has.

Unfortunately, the documentation for Simple Tasklists is outdated, and doesn't accurate describe that.
