Has anyone got the icons to work in the VS Code plugin?

It's a minor annoyance, but has anyone got the issue-type icons to show up in the VS Code plugin? Atlassian's screenshots show these icons, but I do not see them. I just see empty space to the left of my issue keys. I've seen complaints going back as far as 2019 around this issue, which is a bit alarming, but it's not breaking anything and it may only impact certain people.

Just wondering if anyone has more information. Thanks!
