Escalation service - Auto Comment functionality is not working

When I tried to run the Escalation service from script runner plugin to change automatic status from resolved to closed . Status will be changed automatically  but

auto comment function is not working :

issueInputParameters.setComment(' auto closed')

Does your user have add comment permission, and do you have in that transition a screen (due to needed comment field)
