Error when trying to create linked individual issues (no subtasks) based upon templates

Hi!

I'm trying to do the following:

I made a template for one type issue to be create on one board (so far so good) which causes the creation of an issue on another board.

I've done this by creating a second template issue which is linked to the first with the is caused by. The second issue should contain variables from the first.

When triggering the creation of the first using the Create from template UI, I get the following error.

I've skimmed through https://deviniti.com/blog/enterprise-software/jira-linked-issues-templates/, but since this references epics, I don't know how to approach solving the error "No Issue Create payload supplied"
