Hi Community,
We have some Google Sheet imports running in some EazyBI accounts. We noticed some imports started failing. The error log states the sheet can no longer be found.
We noticed the sheet still exist, but they were owned by somebody who no longer works in our company. That's probably the reason why the import fails.
How does the authorization work with Google Sheet imports ? Which user account is used to run the imports ? I noticed there is no "Reset Authorization" option for Google Sheet imports.
How can we restore the imports?
Best regards,
Kris
eazyBI uses the credentials of the original importer of the Google Sheets file, and there is no option to reset authorization for this source type.
You'll need to set up new Google Sheet sources to replace the existing ones.
In the Source Data tab click the three dots "..." next to the Google Sheets source, select "Export definition" and copy the definiton.
Next, in the Source Data tab, click "Add new source application" -> "Import definition" and paste the copied definition. This will ensure that the existing setup (along with data mapping) is copied and will allow you to choose your Google user as the one authorizing the import.
Let me know if you have any additional questions on this!
Best regards,
Nauris / eazyBI support
Hi @Nauris Malitis ,
Thank you for your feedback. We have been able to restore the imports like this.

Kris
