Custom field "user picker": unable to select users

Hi,

I created a custom field "user picker" to assign issues to an other user next to the assignee. Users (developers) without the persmission to browse all users are not able to select users for this field. How can they use the user picker without givem them permission to browse users globaly?

You should give permission to browse all users, otherwise not possible.
